Less saturated than usual oddly enough. I do find it still looks great as usual, but not as saturated as previous artwork... I like it, but not as much as previous.

Hanshyn responds:

I kept the shadow layer separately, and I didn't recolor some shadows, that's why it looks less saturated :D

Rats are superior to mice. I find this is neat. Though. they do not look very different from rat people. Something I often draw. :X Though rats tend to be bigger, ears point towards the front for rats, while mice it is towards the sides. Though this looks pretty nice and also I like the far left mouse being pretty expressive.

I don't consider the "newgrounds" style the "newgrounds" style. Though it very pretty. I see it as a dark art style rather than anything else. I do love it though. Though the linework should be cleaner, but the shading should be a tad more vibrant to really embrace the dark aesthetic.... My characters have gone through multiple styles.

The right leg is a little off and mouth are a tad off, but not bad. It's a case of stylization reference, before realistic items reference. The pokemon is based upon crocodiles, but study lizard and dinosaur hipjoints ( includes birds ). To get a better version.

PocketIllust responds:

Thanks! lol
and i wasn't going for a realistic representation of the Pokemon, but i understand what you're trying to say. I'll do my best!!

Your monochrome to color is admitly showing.... Though nice artwork. Though try to improve your coloring skills by working with color from the start. I mainly see the odd hue shifts around the butt. And shoulder region. and face.

Where is her best friend? Though something looks off on the legs....

CowFz responds:

Maybe they haven't met yet :P and the right leg was off a bit fixed it now.

The torso or general body looks a ton more off than usual. He lacks hips as he is still a guy... The torso region looks like he has a pair of.... When in reality it is hair. Not bad though. Though try to remember he has a ton of male features. Despite being a cross dresser.... The right leg looks a tad.... Off.

Isayaneko responds:

angel has more feminine features owo
and how I draw angel is somehow my thing or not? if i want to draw him kawaii and women like then i draw him kawaii and women like ovo

yes it is hair but it looks like he has boobs is nothing new o0

i really love that pic and iĀ“m fucking proud of it uwu
by the way i think that you can still see that he is a guy... XD

Wow, this is a huge improvement.... When it comes to shade, like I said.... Reduce the air brush shading, and avoid using pillow shading ( When you brighten everything in the center or darken everything in the center ) Try to put a focal point.... I am seeing a ton neater lines..... What I remember you told me, you use Pencil 2D.... Use a digital painting or line work focused program, not animation. Free Alternatives: Krita, Fire Alpaca, Medibang, ( InkScape for Vectors over pixels )....

When you are shading. Shift the color of the shadow and the highlight. There is a warm side, and also there is a cool side. You can shade with warmth, or cool.... I am very hyped you are using perspective..... Though look up reference photos ( all artists use them ) and practice it everyday and you will get better... I find this is a tad rough around the edges, but a dramatic step up in the right direction.... Look up tutorials on color values and digital painting...... Try to experiment with your line artwork by putting a color to it.

Kdenye responds:

thanks for the advice. I used paint 3D on this one and I got an idea from a restaurant like pizzeria but still thanks :).

It looks pretty good. I am shocked how you are getting some nicer coloring what I can see. I do not know if I am considered a furry, but I would roam her wild lands.

CowFz responds:

Happy to hear that you think my shading is getting better overtime, and everyone found has little furry inside them... i think.. i dont know... maybe... eh. :P

Did you monochrome to color? As the face doesn't seem right with the shading not shifting hues enough.

inknmass responds:

actually I just went for it. I had a rough sketch and then on a separate layer I just began to add color. Hope that helps.

I am the DevilRat. Inspiration lost.
