@Crashgen I do have plans on using particualar features of animals. Like I use a rat commonly as they're known for intelligence, social, but can be very determined, but on the other a pain to work with. ( This comes from the fact I owned rats from all my life ) An alone rat is PAINFUL rat to work in the start, but in the end is one part great, one part sadness as it's a short lived experience.
Oh cool, I didn't know you have rats. I remember I used to study rat skulls and wolf skulls and applied that to art. :7
During May 2019.... My old rat Oivin passed away, now I got two female rats.
My old rat was a fighter in the sense of. He survived 10+ cysts and survives, but 13 ( what I remember ) is when he passed away. I had a year without rats being mid-202019 -late 2020,till now. Rodents fascinate heavily due to their anatomy is very neat how rats got a very flexiable squishy rib cage.... Mice got a very unusually strong bite force, but behaviorally lesser. Rats made a great companion like dogs do for most men. A man's best friend is a dog, but I see a rat as a second best friend for humanity. A sacrifice, but a constant growth of learning is why I tend to draw them pretty often. Rats despite short life, a very smart and always learning animal and adaptable. Something I tend to apply to my artwork in a way. As I adapted from medium to medium, style to style, learn more and more.... Trying new things all of the time. I try to avoid the same content, but this is a downfall as I am just a generalist artist rather than a specialized in a genre that helps build a fanbase sadly. I find that's what is holding me back heavily.

I will reuse her design or make a design inspired by it, she is funfact, a mouse. Infact, I have been thinking of working on all of the variies of breeds of certain animals for a world I want to eventually create. Mainly will be overhauling Devil!Rat's whole entire design from a warrior to something more sosphicated, but I do notice I have a very distinctive heavy buckle look to my work. Including trying to make my worlds feel lived in. Try to draw my own characters more and more often. Thoguh I am thinking of cancelling crosshatches on this in favor of mild texturing.
